So for those of you who are thinking as to what is this all about...here's the deal... We (Microsoft) have several cool tools out there under the "Windows Live" banner or offering. And Windows Live writer is one of the cool tools...This tool will sync up with some of the well know blog engines e.g. BlogEngine and will allow you to write a blog offline. It will allow creating of hyperlinks, inserting of pictures, tables, maps, tags, video.

Apart from that it will also allow to save the blog as a draft...how cool is that and to make it cooler, it will allow setting up of multiple weblog accounts and allow publishing whenever you are online. To make it the coolest the editor is fully equipped with spell check and other formatting features...that is what makes Microsoft a great company...reusability and creating value-add products rather than just fancy stuff.

Kudos to the Windows Live team...you guys just rock!!!!
